Thanks; apparently I should have tried playing with them live. Collamore isn't an option when selecting a sp, so had to bring him in in relief in the 1st. Does that diminish stamina?

AL's Naps over the A's 7-4.

HR:
Naps - Kirke
A's - none

9th inning runs:
Naps - 0
A's - 1

WP = Sam Jones
LP = Ryne Duren
SV = Bill Steen

Kirke goes 4-5 with the homer and 3 rbi.

i believe they fatigue up faster when brought in from relief...not positive though

Oh wait, I meant yes
That's my final answer, Regis.

Just tested it, using the Naps' Ed Klepfer.
RL 5.1 IP/G

As starter:
21 pitches, in-game fatigue 98%
52 pitches, in-game fatigue 91%

As reliever (brought in after one batter):
20 pitches, 96%
35 pitches, 89%
54 pitches, 61%

Tell those Athletics to take some pitches, btown!

Anyone have any thoughts on how to approach the holidays? My general thought is maybe we play this round and one more before we get to the Chirstmas Break portion of the game.

I think we could finish playing games for this round Sunday, vote Mon and Tues. Then start up the next round and finish those games by Monday the 21st, vote tuesday the 22nd and I will post results on Festivus (Dec 23). Then we will not start up again untill the 28th.

Thoughts?

Maybe keep it going through Christmas with a longer time frame to get the games in, or at least post the next challenge on 12/23 so we have more time to research/plot. Dec. 23-27 is the last slow time I have at work until March.

Yeah I guess I did not explain that very well. I would intend to have the next challenge posted on Festivus (the 23rd) buy not worry about having to be done with the games untill after the 28th. So you can get them in and play if you are around but do not need to schedule Christmas around it.

My computer access is going to be limited after tonight thru the weekend. Probably wont be on at all between the 21st - 26st as I'll be back in the Great Lake State visiting with friends and family.

I have virtually all of the challenges planed out now as well as a few other fun events including one of my favorite parts of the show the Survivor Auction!!!

so...isnce Collamore isnt available to start can I use one of the other SP for the first batter and then bring in a reliever?
12/10/2009 2:48 PM
I believe Collamore has to come in after the first batter, doesn't he?
12/10/2009 2:53 PM
You may use another Sp who is not ont scheduled to be used and must replace him with Collamore after the first batter.

In the two ex games I've simmed to test, I've still gotten him into the 6th. With a couple guys who can go extended innings from the pen, my SP's stamina is the least of btown's concerns...btown better be ready!
