What happened to all that famous liberal humor we have heard that Conservatives dont have.

Where is the line that makes someone a real American.

Your grandparents or great grandparents had to come over on "the Boat"?

Your parents were born here?

You were born here?

You came here and are legally nationalized?

You pay taxes?

You voted in the last election?

You fought for your country?

The answer is all of these. None of these answers are better than others or makes someone more of a real American.

As for the issue what do you call a party that initiates policies that allow wiretapping without court order. Detaining people because of their race or religious leanings without supporting evidence. Planned invasion of a country with or without just cause. What's next ....... fire up the ovens?
All the previous things were done by Bush and the conservative party as well as Hitler and the Nazis. I know we can not rule out Mr. and Mrs. John Smith from Smalltown USA, but more likely than not isn't it going to be a muslim extremest that wants to get his virgins we should be looking at. If we had something that said the Smiths son has started going to a mosk then we have something.

Wiretapping without a court order, true, and if after the wiretap was performed still needed to be signed off by a judge, before could be used as evidence against.

Planned invasion of a country, you equate that to Nazi Germany, so our goal is now to take over the world and we started in Iraq? We could take over Canada easier.

I really don't want to argue this, I just think the way you said them is more extreme than the issues themselves, especially when you compare to Hitler and the Nazis.

I was simply stating that comparisons could be made. This is not Nazi Germany and I believe in the American people. So if the Patriot Act, Homeland Security and everything Bush did was so horrorific why didnt Obama stop most of it, in reality almost nothing is different.

This plays into the point that Bush was pretty good at this stuff. That protecting America is tough and we have to make a concious choice between liberty and life.

To nick I can only say that we were talking about all Conservatives being Nazis, and I said real Americans.

So if a Federal Judge ordered Homeland security to stop carrying out one of its policies you believe they would ignore the order?

LOL Just joking, seriously Beck's messages generally make me angry so I do what all people who find a message on the radio offensive should do. I change the station. He has the right to his opinion but I have the right to lower my blood pressure. I also don't listen to liberal radio.
