There's a records page for the dh52 league. I just counted, Wilt won in 6 of the 25 (now 7 of 26) recorded instances. He is the "winningest" 1st round pick, but by no means is it a sure thing.

In my mind the team with with should always be the favorite. Also you really need to go back to the season when I won it with Wilt and look at the percentage of times a team with Wilt has won it overall since then. Basically there was a usage model established after that time in regards to which kind of players to surround the 68 EFG% Wilt with to build a contender. I don't think that any other versions of Wilt have won the title although a few have been drafted.

I originally planned to have less usage in order for Wilt to take more shots, but I had to draft who was available. I went pretty heavy in D. Tried to limit TOs and tried to win the boards.
