No, ozomatli missed my pick of CWS SS and when that error is eliminated his post indicates I could pick my Park. But I'm not entirely invested in any particular park, so if an owner who is supposed to pick before me wants the Dodgers, have at it.

There was no one left ahead of you. All of your picks are in order.

Your Royals C pick was your Round 9 pick. You then wanted to take Dodgers Parks but since you took the Royals C first, you had to wait until your turn in Round 10 (now) to take your parks. If you would have picked your parks before your C, you could have picked both simultaneously. It ended up not mattering, though, since you got Dodgers Parks anyway.

Two teams remaining without keepers for Round 9. They have until 3pm and then CLWECW can pick his wildcard. Other than that, only ballparks remain for the final round.

After all that waiting... ouch! I'm shocked... what seasons are you going to use besides 1971, 1972 and 1976 though, out of curiosity? If my understanding of the rules is correct, 1970 is off limits since it's under 150 IP

Great questions.

1) You need 5 qualifying seasons at a single position and must id the position and team. You could then use Smoltz how you see fit.

2) Same as above except only the team/position you id when drafting Ruth would lose his rights.

I think he can use Blue as both a reliever and a starter, but he must have 5 qualifying years at one or the other. Since he doesn't gave 5 qualifying seasons as a reliever I assume he is choosing him as a SP but may use all his Oakland seasons.

That doesn't make sense to me. When I was considering taking Frankie Frisch (before CLWECW took Giants 2B) as my Wildcard, dvorr told me that I could only use his seasons where he was in the database as a 2B. Since we are differentiating SP and RP by how many innings they pitched and NOT by how they are listed in the database, it would seem to me that if CLWECW wants Vida Blue's SP seasons, he should only be able to use seasons where Blue actually qualifies as a SP based on our rules.

In fact, I'd say that's one of the reasons I never bothered protecting him, honestly. He's got a 400K season as well that would seem to me to be off limits as well.
