Pretty awesome (ABO). Kind of what I had hoped The Rapture would turn into after their first couple of EPs but never did.

Whoops--yeah, Outfit, not Project. Really jealous of you seeing Heartless Bastards...I saw them on Austin City Limits awhile back--they were fantastic. Good call on the Rapture.

New National album leaked...getting ready to listen to it.

First listen, good, not great. I'll probably listen to it a few more times, but nothing quite as arresting as they've done before.

The only Ween album I like is the country one. Otherwise, meh.

Chocalate and Cheese had some good tracks on it. Whichever one had Bananas and Blow (White or Pepper or something like that) was decent. They can be reasonable but I can't go through a rock block of Ween or anything like that. I met a chick at a party a couple of years ago who told me that Ween was her favorite band. I walked away and my mind was blown. You can like them... but they can't be your favorite band. That is just ridiculous.

Agreed, that's really well put....that last sentence summarizes my take on them perfectly.

It's like, I met this one dude who swore that Die Hard III was his favorite movie of all time. Same diff.
