Ok thanks, thats what I thought. I was just wondering why miller was lamenting Ruth and Hornsby being taken now when none of his cards would have landed them on his team.

miller's 1916 card would have given him those seasons of Ruth and Hornsby, had they not been taken as HOF players.

I get that, I guess my point was that since I have 1916 too I couldn't understand why those seasons of Ruth and Hornsby being taken from him would cause him to have to now trade. Ruth was a pitcher in a season with tons of pitching and Hornsby was average at best that year. Neither would have sniffed my roster had I not pulled them as HoF cards.

I don't want to belabor the point though, I was really just making sure I was clear on the rule and now I am, thanks.

Is it just me or are Lou Gehrig, Walter Johnson, and Pete Alexander all NOT HOF or HOS in this league? If I'm not missing something then that makes my 1919 and 1931 year cards kick a whole lot of ***...

Yea, I didn't want to have all the real good HOF's as cards so stat cards and year cards could be valuable too.

I guess since toddle decided to keep his salary card I'd better spend my last point for team 2 on a salary card.
