Once again, you take things out of context.   I don't want a league where we can't joke around.  But one of the cardinal rules of comedy is know your audience.  If someone has explained that he doesn't have heat and has called you a dick, it means he's likely ****** off.  Which might mean backing off might be a good idea. 

Did he overreact?  Probably.  Is that why he left?  No.  Didn't help.   

Knee's gone.  End of story.

I lost power a few years ago during an ice storm.  Not fun at all.  I was only three days.  Some people at my work had no power in their home for a month.  I feel for you knee.

Maybe so.  But the bottom line is I need to find two owners now when I had trouble enough finding one.

Try 4+ months straight of cold showers. I haven't enjoyed the comforts of warm water a single time where I'm temporarily staying overseas. I can tell you one thing, they can put you in one hell of a mood. Suffice it to say, I'm eager to return home in a few weeks.

Sad to lose a dedicated owner like Knee

He had his reasons and told me why in an sitemail.  He just didn't feel like he owed you an explanation.  Maybe because he felt like you came after him for no reason.
