I had no idea you might well be me. Or "Genshis," for that matter. Damn you and your liberal* ways, fauxgenghis!

*If you think swamp is rather dim, you must be liberal. Or so I'm told.

Any news source that you have to pay attention to -- or, God forbid, look directly at -- is not worth it!

Crank up the volume on "The Five," turn your back on the TV, and commence multi-tasking!

This is how Works Smart Not Hard stays informed!

Yep, that's one way to do it.

You'll hear what's being said and commence to paying attention if it's something that interests you.

But, if you're reading your French newspaper, you're looking at your French newspaper.

Has everyone forgot my war against books?

It's too bad because you and Mike really ought to crack Don Quixote because you'd really identify with it. Cervantes captured your essence four centuries ago. I'm just trying to figure out which one is Don Quixote and which one is Sancho Panza.

Books always bothered me just because they seem to enjoy some kind of sacred status. Things in a book are judged superior to things anywhere else.

Books always seem to be written to prove the writers point, are rarely fair and are obsolete the minute they are published because anything that happens one second later can never be in that book.

Quite right. Why would you want to waste time with obsolete writers such as Shakespeare, Dante or Cervantes when you can immerse yourself with today's deep thinkers such as O'Reilly and Beck?

That is the point about history books Peggy. Now if you are talking about current events then yes you are right but that represents such a small portion of what is published. I guess that someone like you who received their education from notes scribbled on bathroom walls the whole idea of books must be troubling.

This is easily the most pathetic thing you've ever written.

I'm sure if he actually did read it, swamp would tell us the windmills were really a metaphor for the evils of the environmental movement.

Of course, we're all windmills to swampy.

Oh, I don't know. That's quite a body of work you're talking about.

Your war on books is almost as stupid as refusing to watch TV news.
