You are right. I should have deleted the post once I realized the proxy had an illegal player. Of course, there would've been nearly 2 1/2 hours with no picks during that time, I apologize to 3day if he missed out on a player he wanted (although I am not seeing any full-time OFs taken since then).

I am not sure what I would have done if it were my league to run. both approaches have validity. it just makes me question what length of time away from the site is worth putting in a proxy. especially when everyone is taking 2 players at a time.

When I was a kid, I used to go to Southern California to visit my dad and step-mom for a month every summer. My step-mom was a high school teacher. She had a former student who went on to become a MLB pitcher. One year, we got invited to his house and I got to meet this pitcher. Of course, I was too young to remember anything about the visit. It turned out that he was a pretty darn good pitcher. He also is the recipient of one of Chris Berman's all-time best nicknames. In 1984, he finished 3rd in AL Cy Young voting, behind two relievers (W.Hernandez, Quisenberry).
