I think Gerry drafted Jayson Williams already.
Got a story about Jayson too. The guy who took his clothes from the murder scene when Jayson shot the chauffer and hid them is a close friend of mine. John Gordnick. He got off with just probation after an obstruction and a tampering with evidence charge. He tried to get me to go with them that night to see the Harlem Goats somewhere in Pennsylvania, but I refused. When they got back home from there is when the incident occurred.
From how he was describing Williams behavior in the months leading up to that night I told him that this guy is gonna get people in trouble eventually. No way I was gonna get involved. He had had a career ending injury and the Nets owed him like 20 or 30 million still. He was driving like 125 miles an hour on a highway near his house yelling out "I'M THE KING OF NEW JERSEY" and **** like that. He was also betting 6 figure amounts on NFL playoff games and schit. I just knew trouble was coming, although I expected more like a girl getting raped or something by part of his entourage rather than a murder charge.
