He did not.  However, he had a bloody band-aid on his head.  I'm not sure of all the protocol on public speaking but I think a band-aid that is soaked in blood is not proper for such events.   I'm an Al guy.  I support Al despite the problems of the last few seasons.  Al brought me much football joy in my youth and into my 30s.  I can't forget that.  But, if you're going to do a presser and look like an old drunk who fell on his head just an hour ago, you're really pushing my loyalty to it's limits.

Al is an easy target.  He's not insane, he's just stuck in the 70s.  He's a contrarian.   He says "Screw all this control the ball and manage the clock nonsense.  We're throwing deep!!" because, back in the day, 53% was a solid completion rate because you were trying to gain 40 yards with every pass.

A lot of the freaks in the Black Hole are professional folks.  Nonetheless, I don't think I'd want my daughter hanging out with dudes with face paint, leather chaps and metal spikes.
