Actually, the way I think it ends is that he never posts any video. He comes back and says, "Damn. I made the throw it was fine, just like I said, and nobody was hurt, but the video didn't turn out."

Well, he's a complete douche if he doesn't provide video proof one way or the other.
If he comes back and says, "You guys were right. There's no way to make the throw", he gains back a little bit of cred.

Of course, he could always come back with the video and actually prove everyone wrong...

Although I've got to say I'd rather see the Ninja Star flip than the Exorcist maneuver - less injury risk and more aesthetically pleasing I’d imagine.

I kind of like the plan where the charging outfielder makes the relay throw. It would sort of look like a Harlem Globetrotters routine, or like one of those grainy film clips of the Gashouse Gang flipping the ball around before a game.

Guy tells you he can turn two, y, from the 2b position, without hurting himself, and with a reasonable chance to get the runner.
THEN he tells you he can film it and show you.
Why believe him on the second, when the first thing is so batshit crazy?

At least we have time for a good media blitz. Everyone call news stations and sports talk shows (is 690-AM still the big talk radio of SoCal?) and try to get some witnesses out to whatever-that-field-is, preferably with video equipment (and a sling).
