Thanks for all the well wishes guys. Gozer is a real sweet boy, a Black Mouth Cur mix (Old Yeller was a black mouth cur). We got him as a feral pup from Waco Texas in mid April. Everything was wonderful until July 4th weekend, when he got in a dogfight with our 1 year old Chow mix over food. Three days later, they were playing and it turned into a dogfight, which went on for nearly a minute. We finally got them apart after Gozer played dead and everyone was OK. We had him neutered three days later hoping that would solve the problem, but it didn't. We've had to keep them separated since then, and living in a crate much of the time isn't fair for a six month old puppy. We did this for him, so that he could go to a much better situation. Just want everyone to know we are not terrible people who just give away pets willy-nilly.

Sometimes certain breeds don't mix in a environment.
