I think Trump is scum, a lousy human being in literally every way, but I'm not a fan of the Trump-is-Hitler stuff. It's overblown. There's enough to hit Trump with that you don't need that.

Hitler was consumed with hate, guided by it, planned his life around it, endured hardship (like going to prison and writing a book without a ghost writer) so that he could reach his evil goals. Trump just doesn't have that sort of focus, and he loves himself too much, loves his own comfort, to sacrifice anything for an idea. If you're going to call him Hitler, at least soften it by calling him a lazy, stupid, unambitious Hitler.

Not to put to fine a point on this, but Hitler himself would be insulted by the comparison.

i know where rbracco is coming from and i agree with him......trump deserves to be called a hitler......he is doing everything he can to destroy our democracy......he is a hitler to our democracy.

calling someone a hitler in america in the political sense is reserved for the worst of the worst and the democracy's worst nightmare.....in my opinion trump qualifies........hitler killed millions but his name also stands for one who took his own advanced enlightened society and took it to hell and people need to know that trump would be more then happy to do that to our society....he is sure doing much in that regard....we must never forget the holocaust and the other millions but we should also never forget that it started with one man destroying his country first.
