I turned off the New Pornographers half way through...that band just annoys the **** out of me for some reason. Not even sure why I gave it a chance. For some reason the Hold Steady as never it done it for me.

Glad you gave Titus a listen...I f*cking love that band.

Really? I find when I go back and listen to them I struggle to remember why I thought they were so great at the time.

Yeah, man...some of those licks...Offend in Every Way, Smell a Rat, Dead Leaves? I think they hold up really well.

I do not want you to take this as an attack, I just want to clarify this. I listened to "Voodoo Lady" & "Mister would you please help my pony". Isnt my cup of tea but it seemed compotent.

The group has been portrayed on South Park, performed in the Movie "It's Pat" and was asked to make a jingle for Pizza Hut. This seems pretty mainstream.

So can you explain in more detail why no one would list Ween as their favorite band?

red line him, B0t.

Cmon!

I really want to understand your point.

Your answer was listen to it, it didnt make me want to buy the album, but it also didnt make my ears bleed.

I dont care at all about this, other than to know what parameters about this group I do not understand that would make you say that no one should make this their favorite band.

Their are people that list the Osmonds as their favorite band.

Older album that I downloaded back in the day, but barely listened to. The Raveonettes--Pretty in Black. Listening to it about once a day now...I don't think it's your thing, Robusk...maybe yours, B0t. Lou Reed sort of vocals over 60's Doo-Wop...with your standard Scandinavian pop sound sort of sprinkled in throughout.

Any thoughts on Mayer Hawthorne?

New Band of Horses, LCD Soundsystem, and Black Keys. I'll try to listen to them all.

I almost got in a wreck yesterday getting buck wild in my vehicle to some Justice yesterday. Not the sort of stuff I usually listen to but sometimes I really get in the mood for that sh*t.

Has anyone brought up the Album Leaf album that came out this year? I have it downloaded but haven't imported it yet. I heard some good things but they are so inconsistent.

Haven't heard it, but I'll check it out.

Just downloaded Sleigh Bells...it's awesome.

I listened to like two tracks of Album Leaf and wanted to cut myself. Maybe I'm just not in the right mood...but that **** was boring.
