Sounds good but I'm going to build the team the way I would any team I have in the past...I just figure that it may be a bit of a bigger challenge depending on the talent or how bad the team has been ran.

So does nobody ***** about you have an alias...but again I don't care much about my overall record because I don't think it paints a true picture of what type of owner you are.
It's not like I'm "hiding" behind my aliases. It's kind of obvious who and what they are

I feel you plague. I just got done babysitting a 39 win team. I am currently babysitting 3 teams, all with more than 90 losses...

I don't care how any of you play the game. I'm not running the world or accepting owners. However, I assume anyone volunteering for this isn't going to make idiotic trades that are blatantly lopsided in either direction. I suspect many of these worlds got in their current condition due to such actions.

Well Mike I would say if there are 10-12 of us joining a league we are going to be close to 1/3 or 1/2 the league...I would also guess the league has a majority of vetrans in it so trade raping the noobs doesn't look to be a problem.

It would be interesting to see which style wins out...the "tankers" vs the "win while rebuilding crew". Of course, not all teams will be starting at the same point so it may be difficult to find a winner...

i'm in. i wholeheartedly agree on approving whatever world it is though. for example i don't think i'd want to be in mlbh.

In theory it should not matter. But somehow when I look at my profile seeing that 125 loss season just eats me. It also happen season 1 of the world so it looks like I was the only owner and that I tanked the team, when in reality the former coach had abandon the team and the relievers had all pitched 100 games when I took over the team. What a nightmare that was trying to win games with that team. Plus the coach before me thought it was a good idea to trade for 3 year contract borderline major league players and gave up 50 overall rated career minor leaguers in exchange. He also traded like 4 minor league stud pitchers for lesser quality.

This is one of the better ideas out there. It's the same as my proposal to WIS to save MLHB, but finding a group of owners to pay instead of working out a deal with WIS to make it happen. Good luck Mike - I'm sure you'll find some owners willing to do this. I would if I qualified.
