szczu ... a clarification ... when you say: "fill out your roster with 12 players who played with him and 12 players who played for him" I believe you mean that as a minimum (roster has 25 players) ... also in the case of Frank Robinson, he was a player-manager for the indians in 75-76, so I figure somebody like 75 Indians' SP Gaylord Perry may count either way ...

Todd ... Felipe Alou is a great pick (my second choice after Robinson?)! Had dinner with the dude, second wife and 2 small children in a Japanese restaurant in Central Florida back in the mid-90's, while he managed Montreal. Real cool fellow! ...
