are there going to be time slots for picks or will it be entirely open to finding out when we are up by checking repeatedly. i ask b/c i am running a warhammer tourney tomorrow and wont have internet access for most of the day, so i can make arrangements for my pick etc.

Sorry, but I have major issues with this. I really have no interest in playing in a league that allows trades to be completed when they are not clearly defined. Which this trade is not.

"I'll give you this pick now, and you can, you know, give me back something at some point in the future"

Nope. Not legal. I really think the draft needs to stop until this trade is properly defined.

Sorry. It was defined by pmars. He wants me to pick a specific player for him and trade that player for his round 4 pick. I just wasn't sure when I was actually making the pick and I wanted to make sure I wasn't misunderstanding the rules on whether a player can be traded for a pick or if he has to pick someone in that slot and trade that player instead. If I need to state which round I'm drafting the player for him, I will.

so you are swapping 1st round picks and then you are giving him one of your later picks. only thing is you have to have 25 players and he has to have 25 players you can't be under and just pick a 200K.

That's what I wasn't clear on. So I guess it would be me picking a 27 player for him next round and I trade it for a 40 player that he picks in round 4.

you can only draft your year though you can only trade slots. So he will have 2 picks in the second round and you will have an additional pick in the 4th round. That is what it sounds like to me.

No, it would be trading a player for a player. I think I just made this sound more complicated than it needed to be by announcing things that I didn't need to announce. Basically he wants a player from 28 that I will draft next round and then trade that player to pmars later on for some stiff he drafts in the 4th round.
