Thanks, that was my feelings on both trades. I just got to thinking that I might be getting to greedy.
Due to the nature of projected ratings making almost any good player a "can't miss"-type, prospects have far more tangible value.

It's not a shotgun kind of thing like in MLB.

Barring horrific injury, of course.

By the way, since you've talked so candidly about the trade props...it would be nice to know which world is trying to rape a newb...

Geez, tankicana, if you can't just click on his name and check his active teams, well, you don't deserve to know.

The first trade was proposed by a newb to a newb. I believe he felt he was making a legitimate offer, and the other trade I did not feel was trade rape. I felt that it was a decent offer, just not one that I wanted to accept, but to answer your question, it was New Guys.

I listen to each and every opinion and make my own conclusions. Doesn't really matter much who gave the opinion.

Good thinking. You'll do fine. You shouldn't be side-tracked by the 80% or 90% of posts that are pure garbage (just my opinion, never been "researched," could be much higher.)

It's entirely possible he has another user name.

He got a lot of good advice, you know except for yours which was to trade a legit ML pitcher -- which he will still be next season -- for a AAA starter (or maybe, MAYBE an ML mopup guy). While paying that players salary for this season, I might add...it's advice like that that keeps people from returning for multiple seasons, snake.

Getting rid of Thomas would basically be a salary dump, which is fine because you can always use the $$ for something else next year. The guy you would get is not great, but getting that contract off the books for next season might be worth it. I wouldn't pay his salary, though.
