DII, JUNIOR Declaring for the draft?? Topic

I was always under the impression that the 1-100 scale was based on the college game. I have had players with 99 or 100 in various ratings in d2 and although they have maxed out in our scale in college, who's to say what their potential might be in the pros? For the last 15 years how many mediocre players have gone number one in the draft based on potential? Kwame Brown, Olowakandi, Bargnani... Seems to me Olowakandi was never recruited by a big 6 school, started in England and finished at Pacific U. Yes, he was a bust in the nba, but if the number one pick in the draft can fall through the recruiting cracks and go number one overall, what's to stop a few guys from falling to d2, then realizing their potential or some nba scout believing they have great potential, and drafting them?

I don't think this kid was good enough to go early, but if the kid is really good in rl, his other options might have been either to transfer to d1, or if he didn't want to take a year off, bail d2 for European pro ball. I can imagine the fun if those options were instituted into the game.

huh - I am trying to imagine how that is fun - I would exact only non fun from this sim city HD, let us recruit, give us an engine that simulates better each day, give us some decent options that affect the sim (i.e. gameplanning), and let the rest of this crap, assistants, delimna, injuries, EE's, matching recruits to the school logo to help the recruit decide, etc go

Mine went in the 2nd round. Even more of a joke for HD.

or...the last comment was intended to be sarcastic. Perhaps chaos would have been a better choice of word.
