I'll take a SEC team

OK. I will also take a Pac-10 team. Certainly the Pac-10 and Big East would be in different conferences. Poddy is always a challenge for my teams.

League has been created, and sitemails have been sent out with the league number to all who have signed up. If you have and you didnt get one, lemme know and I will resend.

I dont think we will have a problem with boredom and lots of similar teams. I did my Big East team and believe me, there were SO MANY ways I could have gone. Other than some obvious ones, like Chamberlain in the Big 12, Jabbar in the Pac 10, Oscar or Ewing in the Big East, I think there will be many many different players and contributors.

Are we doing anything special with the team names so that we know what conference our ballers originated from? Or not?

This is a great challenge, like amerk said, a LOT of ways to go. . .but so far none of them have caught my fancy.

Yeah, I'd prefer everyone nicknames their team from their conference of choice but its not mandatory.

OK, I knew this would come up so lemme throw it out there....what do you want to do with someone like Dana Barros, who played for Boston College when it was a Big East team, but now is in the ACC?

It was my intention that things would be easier, and less confusing to just go by CURRENT conference set up for guys like him, but that can be changed at this point if you guys want to.

Do we say a guy like him is eligible for the conference he played in when he was in college, or the current conference set up. Or could he be draftable in either?

First three respondants majority is what I will go with.
