Daily Oklahoman Press realease:

After 3years of winning nearly 60 games per season, but floundering in the playoffs the Thunder have decided to mix things up. The thought process was to gather more defense and move Y.Ming and T.McGrady both of which shoot the ball alot, which will allow V.Carter and C.Anthony to get the touches they deserve. This will even out the Thunder, and they feel help win a championship.

The Thunder will give up their 2nd round and the Jazz's 2nd round picks for a 2nd round next season. first to SM me gets them.

Oh yeah, I don't think we should change now but if we run this league back I would vote for a change

Yeah I'd like to explore options once we get there cause there needs to be some sort of change that makes sense.

If there isn't a lottery (in future incarnations of this league), I suppose there should be anti-tanking rules. If I remember, the lottery is in place to ensure that teams that tank aren't guaranteed a top player. It's sort've an either/or system we have now. Either lottery and no rules about tanking or no lottery and rules about tanking. It would most likely end up about the same.

Tanking can be difficult to discern. It was suggested that I was tanking in another lge so I went with what others thought. My record was worse and I lost three spots in the lottery. I will never do that again since $$$ is involved and I basically took one for the league. (It cost me a decent pick and yet another year of rebuilding). I would be skeptical of any anti tanking rules because of two main points- A person who pays has a right to do what they want (I hate it but its true). I suppose we could say "but not at the risk of others". the other is that not everyone feels the same way about what a good player is.
