No but some of us are willing to wait until a league fills. What gonzos complaint is that some of us are paying for teams and then they sit while we wait for the league to start.

Sure if we have paid for a league and it never starts we will use that team else where. But if League A does not exist it does not mean I would automatically sign up for league B.

Most of us play in the leagues we want to and don't play in ones that do not interest us. Rarely has there been a time where I said I would play in league B if only I had more money or time. If league B interests me then I would find a way to play.

The only time I pulled out of a LIVE league was the Managers league back when I got in my bad car accident. It is not because it takes to long to fill.

the problem with these leagues why they don't fill is there is not enough live players to begin with there is only like a hundred or something. The other thing is that there is too many spec to these leagues People don't want to join cause the leeague isn't a certain way the cap isn't high enough its too low there are rookies there aren't rookies things like this. With too many options too many people don't want to join cause it isn't what they want.

The only thing automatically disbanding a league after X days would accomplish would be to force the commissioner to go to the work of setting up the league again (increasing the chances of mistakes to blacklists, whitelists, etc.) and force all the owners who still want to play to enter the league again.

Again, every owner already has the option of deciding that he has waited to long, and simply leaving the league.

Having more live players would be great. But plenty of leagues ARE filling. At the moment I am in 20 active live leagues, not counting kneeneighbor's creative, entertaining Survivor exhibition league. That sure seems like enough to me.

Jesus, this sounds like our health care "problem". No matter what you do someone will be unhappy.

I think we all agree with your frustration, we just don't think limiting leagues is the answer.

as long as there is an interest in the leagues, the starter and guys in it should pimp it out when playing live and in the forums....or just hire gusv to do it for you

I know I stayed away from live for a while at the begining because of the complex leagues. I Just didn't feel confident in my ability to macth some of the vetern players. But there where a few live owners that where willing to answer my questions and guide me into it. Now I'm an addict. I love all the complex leagues and really enjoy the live aspect of WIS. If more live players where willing to do that I think we could get more players.

btown- I think alot of guys will help you out on LIVE if you just talk with us or send us a sitemail asking us something. We are pretty cool people when you get to know all of us. We may look petty at times in the forum's but that's just because we are all competitive and think we know it all! lol. But all are pretty cool when you can have a late night conversation with them on LIVE.

I was refering to when I started. I had guys that came to me and kinda guided me thru a few years back. But without them steping up I probably wouldnt have made my way to live. I am glad I did, but I can see where that may be an issue for some. I have learned a lot from all my fellow live players and now I consider myself one of those live fanatics that knows it all.
