Best season = highest salaried year for Joes dh555.

vancem is correct. You must use the most expensive season for each Joe. This means that each Joe's most costly season needs to be at least $3 mil and no more than $6.5 mil.

That rule applies to the Joes, but not Pros.

Would love to have your charming company and benevolent wisdom, of course. I may need some help managing vancem's ego and ambition - he's angling for a three-peat.

This is great with both scud and shap coming in today. Is anybody friends with benjihall or Mr. Hall? Benji invented this concept and I hope he signs up for this season. This will be a blast guys. We getting some studs for owners.

If Pat Riley couldn't get a three-peat from the late 80's Lakers then don't expect one from me. But I'll try. My hair is a lot like Pat's but I'm only 6'3'' and not 6'8''.

heres my joes....you guys are getting no love from me...they are all over 5 mil with big time flaws

LaMarcus Aldridge....enjoy that 14.4% dreb
Bob Verga.............29% usg..43.7% fg..306to/284ast
Jerry Stackhouse...35.3%usg..40%fg...4.1topg
Rick Mahorn.....not alot of boards and tons of fouls

like dh555 not showing much love on my Joes:

Bernard King: you'll have some scoring but have fun with Tov% of 16.5 and Fl48 of 5.5

Toni Kukoc: 27.5% usg and 44.6% eFG

Ricky Sobers: Tov% of 20.1 and Fl48 of 4.9

Mike Miller: my one decent player

Got you, shap.

This is shaping up into a great group of owners and a cosmically schizophrenic group of Joes. The fates might give you a nice glue guy like Mike Miller, or a reckless gunner like Stackhouse. I see an emerging mix of decent players, Saltine crackers, and some of the worst dreck the sim can serve up.

Let's fill this up! Soon I'll start sitemailing past participants as I think of them.

it would probably take too much time....but a draft of the joes would be amazing....guys fighting to get the mike millers and grangers....while trying to avoid the sobers and vergas

LOL that last pick in the draft will hurt. Imaging actually having to draft Bob Rule
2/19/2010 12:42 PM
Well, it's even worse arguably because there is no draft. Note that the Joes are dispersed randomly (I feed the list into an on-line randomizer - once for bigs and once for smalls).

I have floated the notion of running this as a draft, but past owners seemed so evenly divided that I kept the status quo. I'm happy to hear more opinions, though. Doing this with a draft would be a hoot...I think some guys like the exquisitely painful element of chance that comes with realizing what hand you've been dealt.
