There isn't another player that did that much for his team...").
Admittedly, I don't have many players appear in the awards nominations. But the few that I have had, I have allowed their numbers to speak for themselves and haven't said a word in the world chat. I'm sure that my league-mates have the intelligence to make an informed decision on who they feel is the MVP/Cy Young/etc. and view this campaigning as the campaigner essentially saying "You're not looking at the right thing and your opinion is therefore wrong."
I wanted to get opinions from other HBD owners on this practice to see if I am out of line in expecting the other owners in my world to make the decision on their own.
you obviously care or you wouldn't be concerned with his campaigning..
I don't care as far as his campaigning taking away from my players who may be up for an award. As stated, I rarely have players up for them. It just annoys me to see stats throughout the season that are always aimed at getting more sentiment for his players than others.
I don't mind if someone were to mention their player hit for the cycle or pitched a perfect game. Those are both great accomplishments. And I don't mind if someone is bringing up a player on another team to debate his merits for an award (arbitrary opinion). But I don't want to see "Player X has accounted for Y% of
MY team's runs so far. Seems pretty MVP-like to me" 50 games into the season.
