I have counted about 8 owners still need to pick

I know all have seen the e-mail i have sent.

I took Nuxhall so I could get Post and Klu, I took Score because before he got hit in the eye by McDougald I thought he was better than Koufax, I took Bob Rush because when I was a kid that is all the Cubs had. It should be fun. Ace

jfranco, you point is a key. I have my tentative team selected; just about the most difficult part was finding a yr. in which I had a good selection of the 4 teammates for ea starter--it sure wasn't easy. Still may not be pending if I get my 5th pitcher!

Looking forward to seeing if I got any of my round 2 starters...

AStill waiting for 1 owner to send me a replacement.  He only needs one so I'm thinking about skipping him this round.  Site-mail has been sent to that person

nikospade, you asked us to submit round 2 picks by Wed., 2 days ago & site mail worked during the forum reworking so why not just give us the lists so we can go ahead with drafting, etc.?

I'm just trying to keep it fair. I don't want anyone to drop I'll give him until tomorrow to get that last person in there

Wow.  That is a long time to pick one pitcher. 

And what's fair when the rest of us did what you asked?  3 add. days!

In fairness to nikospade I would do the same thing.  I commished a league like this (and have another one filling now; you should all join link http://www.whatifsports.com/forums/Posts.aspx?ForumID=18&TopicID=415134&ThreadID=8533216#l_8533216 ) and for some reason some of the owners just take forever to pick, and skipping them will have a big impact on a draft like this. 

That one pick will make a big difference for some team; maybe for a few, so it makes sense for nikospade to keep that in mind while making these decisions.  I also gave people extra days in almost every round of the league I commished (and got some nasty sitemails) because some owners just wouldn't pick for days and days, and trying to get someone to take over a dropped team during a draft like this would not be easy.  You also have to weigh into that, that no current owner can pick up a drop because it obviously compromises the draft.

Nikospade is doing a good job.  The evidence of that is our anticipation of the next round of what is a very fun and well run draft.  Can't fault him for someone taking a week to pick one guy.

 

no question that nikospade, you have to do and have already done, a lot of work to keep this league moving along.  And you deserve our thanks for this.  Sorry, didn't mean to in any way launch any kind of attack.  Just looking forward to the challenge of this league.
