10 teams in the NT from 1 conference!!! Topic

A 3 losing to a 14 isn't unheard of, either in real life or HD. Especially HD where the low seeds are a lot closer to the high seeds compared to RL.

Having said that, I would agree that the Big East Conference was not overrated here. Even with 10 teams getting into the tournament, about 2-3 advancing to the S16 is about what I'd expect.

I'm not saying it's some outrageous upset for a 14 seed to beat a 3 seed, just pointing out that just because we had some major upsets it doesn't mean we were overrated. 1 of the 2 teams that made it through to the Sweet 16 was the lowest seeded team to make the tourney from our conference. If our 10th best team can make the Sweet 16 doesn't that say a lot about the conference?

Wow, looks like this big east conference was over-rated. Only got 2 teams to the sweet 16. Still, there will be a lot of recruiting $$.
Wildly inconsistent results from the sim in a 1 and done situation doesn't mean a conference was overrated.

You've never played DI before, and I'll tell you that's not the case in DI. Take the ACC-Allen and look at the talent on those rosters, they're hardly overrated.

And again, kmason is right, a few NT upsets don't mean anyone is overrated. Now, if that type of thing happened season after season, that's a different story.
