Which Big (if any) for the Triangle? Topic

The scouting evaluations are two separate parts.

The first part tells you where the player is currently.  Not very informative if you have the rating.  Fantastic rebounding instincts means he's a better than average rebounder today.   Others like poor court vision means he's currently a poor passer.

The second part is the potential.  Each category has five different responses indicating the amount of future improvement.
Good upside if he works at it is the response for Average potential and he will improve somewhere between 5 and 20 points.
The "sky's the limit" and "Tremendous improvement" are both responses for High-High potential and he should improve by 30 or more points.
The Perimeter evaluation with the "not expecting any improvement" is the Low-Low.  Low-Low will be lucky to see more than a point or two of improvement over his career.

One thing I am seeing with the new recruits are a lot more High-High ratings.  In the past I usually found guys with 6-7 High potentials and you may get lucky to have 2 of those categories be High-High.    In the past couple recruiting cycles the recruits I've actually scouted have at least half of the High categories actually turn out to be High-High.  In D2 I just ended up with a guy with 6 High-High categories.  With a decent WE I expect him to improve 250+ points in four seasons.
