Recruit Generation - Seble? Topic

The problem is there aren't even many guys like that. Starting ratings for the mid-level guy were lowered considerably, and there are a lot more low potentials. So while yes, there are some players like that, there are far fewer than there were before.
Precisely the problem...I was recently told by CS that 75%  of the people who answered the survey liked the changes in recruiting. I wish they would redo the survey and ask  the PROPER recruiting questions...

What do you think of the recruiting changes at D1?
What do you think of the recruiting changes at D2?
What do you think of the recruiting changes at D3?

Anyone who has played the game for a while and has half a brain can tell you the game experience is COMPLETELY different between the 3 Divisions, unfortunately those that support the game don't seem to know this and cite the generic survey of "How do you rate the changes in recruiting?" as their answer to my specific ticket about D1 non-elite/mid-major recruiting...fairly certain whomever I was dealing with was named Peggy...Yes?

Tobone - You are spot on.

Hannibal  - no problem, hope it helped.

Daalt - I dont think youre taking into account how these players will develop and the impact of their potentials.  I also dont think youre taking into account the impact of increased battles on elite schools and not being able to simply hand pick recruits any more. I also think youre underestimating the impact on EEs which seems more severe than ever. Just this past season I lost 7 players (not all EEs obviously) at Kansas and Texas in my conference lost a FR.  I am glad that for once, Seble hasnt hit the panic button and again made a drastic change.  Let the players cycle through before jumping to conclusions.

there exist some nondescript guys who should be very good after their potential kicks in - take the no stars, #71 PG, not among top 200 overall...but I do wish there were some more high potential guys out there

fd, I was clear in saying that the existed, though they were few-and-far-between.

And the guy you posted is almost certain to be the subject of a nice recruiting battle, and likely would get pursued by BCS schools, not low/mid. That guy couldn't just be picked up under the radar by a mid-level team.

absolutely - in fact, he was fought over by Houston, Arkansas and Ole Miss - one mid major and two lowish BCS schools (I got him for Ole Miss)

not disagreeing with your comment dalter
