Via proxy, ronthegenius selects Toronto Blue Jays

Amazed one of my top four teams fell this far to me.  I'll take San Francisco.

I had the Giants ranked 7... but maybe should have had them higher.

It has been interesting to me seeing how other people value other teams.  I had Seattle ranked about 7th, for example.  The Royals were my clear-cut #1.

I didn't need to do much ranking, since I had a high pick, but I do find the variance of opinions extremely interesting. It makes me wonder what everyone else was looking at, and why I wasn't doing it too! Now I'm *really* worried!!!

Personally, I always tend to pick the good franchises... Atlanta, Boston, Los Angeles.  I have won the World Series using all three of these franchises (under a slightly different set of rules).  The worst franchise I made the playoffs with was Cleveland but that team could use a really good 1970's version of Gaylord Perry.  I prefer having a little depth on my team, so when my players get snatched, I have other alternatives.  But I have seen teams like KC, etc. also do very well in this format. 

There is a little advantage in drafting late each round.  I can see which of my players gets taken and adjust my selection accordingly.  The good teams don't have many needs. 

Well, that makes me feel better...

Anything we can do speed this up?

odalisgagne does not have internet access during the day this week.  I'm sure he'll make his selection this evening. 

Is it ever a good sign when you are up in two drafts but only leave a proxy for one of them?  I think that's the situation we find ourselves in while we wait for odalisgagne.
