seble, will the change to the distribution of recruits only impact worlds after the next batch of recruits is generated or will it impact recruit vision for all worlds immediately?  In other words, will all of the players I saw on my D2 screen in Crum yesterday still be there today or will some no longer screen?  Also, will this impact the willingness of D1 recruits to be pulled down to D2?
It only impacts newly generated recruits, so any recruits created after today.  For the affected recruiting pools, it will impact the quality of players that you can pull down from DI.
Interesting.  It definitely looks like D2 recruiting just got A LOT more competitive.  It's going to clearly be harder to recruit difference-maker type players to D2 now without a very high prestige.

seble, also, have you taken a look at how the 2/3 update impacted FG% and determined if it perhaps went too far?  It seems like FG%s have dropped a whole lot, and some guys that should still be decent scorers are having a lot of really rough games.  That may be more in touch with reality, I just didn't know if you have looked at the data since the 2/3 release to see if it did what you hoped it would with FG%s.

Thanks
The real-life overall FG% since 2000 is 44.2%.  The HD rate prior to the 2/3 release was 47.6%.   Since the release the rate is 44.3%.  So I'm happy with the results since the change.  I know it's an adjustment to see shooting drop so much, but it needed to be done.

I think it sounds like a bigger deal than it is for D2 schools. I imagine it will go back to exactly how it was before the change, and even then there weren't many battles in D2. It will still be similar, A+/A schools will get the best guys and everybody else will have to take what they don't get. I remember in the past if you got a guy ranked 130th at his position that was amazing nowadays even B- schools can get guys like that.

Thanks.  Glad to see it is working out like it was intended to.  I'm sure we just all have to get used to seeing lower FG%s that are more realistic.

These look like great changes to me.

I dont like it.  Gonna make d2 like d1 were only the high prestige teams can sustain success.  Thats what ruined d1 for me.

I don't think it will be anywhere near that drastic.

Absolutely false.

Don't care for the new look box scores, if I don't know whether it's regular season or post season, I need to be paying closer attention.

Really hows this?  Only the higher prestige teams will get the majority of the best players(do to quantitiy) just like d1.

Yes. The next batch generated will have the new recruits.

I dont know what to think of it tell i experience it for my self.  I generally have a high prestige and consider my self a decent recruiter but I can see it making it tough for others to compete.  In d1 the players the top teams get dont make you a sw16 team.  occasionaly those types fall through but not that often.

That's good to know all the way around and what a lot of us were asking for, thanks!

When talking about the player rating increases across the board, how much?

I'm concerned because I have 5 scholarships THIS recruiting cycle before the 2 patches, and I feel like I'm wasting them on "lower level" recruits.(I'll be saving at least 1 of them for a walk on), but how drastic is the change?  2-3 points per rating? or 5-10?
