I will be away from computer for the rest of the day and I am "on deck". My first choice will be The Pittsburgh Prospects if available. If not I will go with the Anaheim Ace

Is there any reason not to lower the league cap to $80 million?
Yes, there is. I want everyone to be able to add WW pickups at the end.

If a team (Sacramento Sluggers for example) has nothing AAA-related under their team description, does that mean there is no limitations on how that teams uses AAA? Or does that mean the team can't use AAA?

It means no limitation.

I'll take Chicago.  Go Competitors!

Though I usually wouldn't play in the Baker Bowl under any other circumstances, I'll give the Sacramento Sluggers a whirl here.

Way to keep this moving along fellas. I'll be picking a team shortly with my missed slot so I can get the league set up. Also, I had never copied over the basic rules from the original version of the league, but they are added to the first post now. Random AAA 12/10, 50 games live minimum.

For those new to the league, be sure you understand the Waiver Wire rule. WW may not be touched until your team has played 140 games, and players added via the WW cannot be used until your final five games. The WW rule allows everyone to put a $100M team into the playoffs. If you are new to the concept of Random AAA, be aware that they play a huge role in how the league plays out. It's worthwhile to learn how to identify the players, and because teams have different goals, trading AAA can be crucial. Feel free to sitemail me or another veterain owner (any of whom probably has a better record than me in this league) if you want to know more about how to plan for and use the AAA. To figure out who the players really are, search in the SimLeague forum for a thread called AAA Just the Charts.

I am open to discussion on whether the final cap should remain $100M or be lowered to $90M.
