From the next two picks, only one N.L. team can be taken (if any are).  DEWELCH71 has to have an N.L. team with the 23rd pick...

You know being at the bottom of the draft was hard enough but DEWELCH Should have had to take a national league team with his second pick that is pretty unfair to the bottom 3 in my opinion.  It puts us at even a bigger disadvantage.

I'm not sure I follow. How could anyone have know at pick #2 that the draft would develop this way. Even if he had picked an NL group at pick 2, wouldn't thejuice have been forced to reserve an AL group for his late pick? Its hard to see how his choice at #2 made any appreciable difference. Also, it may be that DEWELCH will end up with the last NL group on the board (i.e., the one NL group that no one else wanted). How is that an advantage to him or a disadvantage to you? Unless you think that the last NL squad is that much better than the last (or one of the last) AL squads. I'm not saying this to hassle you and I really do understand that drafting at the bottom of a 24 choice draft is a disadvantage. My only thought is that DEWELCH's earlier choice doesn't seem to make it an even greater disadvantage.

42-51 NL

I certainly can't speak for everyone else in here but, just my opinion, I don't think DEWELCH71 made out at all.  If I had a choice between the 22-31 Nationals and the two American League choices that are left, I'd probably take either of the A.L. choices.  The 22-31 N.L. squad has some bats but the pitching on that team doesn't impress me at all.  We're all entitled to our opinions though...

It is the fact that we did not have choice that bothers me and knowing that he had to have teams in both leagues might have allowed a better choice to slide to the bottom picking back to back took away the choice for the rest of us and that is what bothers me.
