Sure. As long as their ATH/SPEED/DEF are in a respectable place and they have decent numbers in some of their position specific categories, they'll be perfectly fine as backups. I went with a PG (D3) with a 5 work ethic which is easily the lowest I've ever gone, and have pretty much gotten what I expected.

I'm not yet sure whether to leave it on him or not (I have 5 seniors and some other options for PT at the 3) but if I do it'd be a nice IQ boost (though probably not much net gain in ratings).

Thanks for the update z.  I didn't play my guys soon enough so it's like it is a wasted recruiting class :(  Not that it wasn't already because I tried two guys with 7 and 5 WE.  Oh well, live and learn!!!
