It is a difference of opinion.  The  AAA guys can mean 5-8 games to me.  Guys with better stats in real-life will do better in low caps.  I am sure that other groups of aaa in this theme placed on different teams may have given them a playoff shot.  I will share at later date by sitemail.

In my opinion, with this small sampling, usage of AAA seems to be another dominating difference between the top 5 and bottom 5 teams utilizing AAA. Offensive performance appears to be even in the NL.

I agree usage makes a difference.  However usage of quality aaa guys with good obp and average and nice ab/hr real-life stats is huge. Some owners did not receive
guys with good real-life stats.  Check out real-life stats with league stats and records.  I have seen it make difference in most low caps that I have played.  I do not blame
owners for not playing guys wwith terrible stats a lot unless they are in weak division.
