Well yes, but you still have to use one of his All-Star seasons, which isn't great (at least pitching wise).
He was a pretty good hitter, though.

Damn it, I am going to switch again. Going with one of my favorite sim pitchers.... Gaylord Perry, A.L., (12 seasons). I don't mind picking last.

That closes pitchers in the A.L. (at least until somebody siwtches again).

I considered him (AL version) as well, but you're right, not a great season to use and his teammates weren't exactly must have players.
