Well yes... but you still have to get the required innings and starts from that 5th starting pitcher.

Surprise me. Give me the final spot...whatever's left over...

Count me in. I'll take a 5 man rotation.

Ight I’ll bite. The competition in the 3 man is too good to pass up and imma try an experimental team. I’ll take that last spot

edit: I just read that not all groupings will be in the same division, but I kinda like my experimental team regardless

I'll go against my comfort zone and play a 5-man ro. May add a 2-man team if it doesn't fill fast.
I am also working on building a 2-man-SP roster, just in case we don't get this filled.

Is there a ceiling on IP for each group? Ex - 4 man rotation isn't limited to a max of 299 IP. Just as long as all my SP get their starts and IP? Thanks

No maximum. I would expect a few of the 5-man pitchers to potentially be on the 4-man rosters. And I guess you could have a 300-IP on the four-man staff if you rostered over 1000 SP innings.

Rule 3 could be a close call. I've been in $120m leagues where 1450 innings generally isn't enough. I'll have to avoid stamina unfriendly strategies.

"3. Each of your starting pitchers must equal or exceed their real life IP/162 during the regular season in order to be playoff eligible. You may use your designated pitchers to relieve if needed."

Maybe. I can't recall too many leagues I've been in where my starting pitchers didn't pitch more innings their their real life totals. The ability for SP to relieve should help folks who are close during the last week of play.

It's probably best not to use huge hitters parks like Coors or Mile High since number of pitchers gets inflated.

I don't know why I keep swimming with the sharks, but I'll take one of the last 2 man slots schwarze..thanks.

I was talking about total innings without fatigue. Shouldn't be a problem for those playing anti-fatigue strategies, which may be the best strategies. My point was it essentially rules out other strategies.
