I know this league doesn't lend itself to proxies due to its unique nature, but if somebody was going to be away for a big chunk of time, they could easily provide a highy-detailed IF-THEN type of proxy to somebody in the opposite league without worrying about spilling too much information to a same-league opponent.

My window for checking in (which was pretty huge today from 7am to 4pm EDT) is about to close. Looks like we are not on complementary schedules (which is not surprising, but also not fortunate). I actually don't mind just a pick per day though - it lends the excitement of the draft to more days.

I hope you will be able to check at least once later tonight slainte, since happyhours can pick early in the morning (and is right after you), it gives us the best shot at two rounds per day. Getting only 8 picks (1 round) per day is way too slow. Even in a normal 16x16 draft, we would typically get at least 20 picks per day in.

Super-slow drafts really suck all the fun out of the drafting experience, in my opinion.

oh I definitely can check later tonight. I just can't check regularly the rest of today. I'll disagree with you about the speed of drafts though. Getting it done quickly means the fun part is over sooner. It's kinda like the hanukah v xmas debate we have in our household.
