Almost right beauchamp.....each team will get five 200k players from 1970-present. One C, one IF, one OF, and two P's. I have created 16 "baskets" that should be reasonably close in terms of total PA's and IP's per basket. These baskets will be randomly assigned once the draft is complete. As far as the IF's and to some extent the OF's, I tried to pick players who played as many different positions as possible.
Each year, we will carry over these five players. They won't advance from season to season and you can't cut or trade them. As we get farther along in history, we'll reach a point where we won't need them at all. Once that happens, we'll drop them out of the league altogether.
