I really wish they would add managers/head coaches to the game to be higher up than bench coaches since that’s really the highest coach possible but they don’t even have managers in the game. And allow these coaches to be fired and hired mid season or at any time like in the real world if they perform poorly.

I’d also like to see these managers get stats like times ejected and games/titles won etc. and awards.

That is because you are the manager (as well as the GM). FYI, there are no head coaches in professional baseball.

I wish that were more clear I guess I think that this should have the user be the team owner (since you pick the location and all that) and you hire your GM and manager (yes, you can still do the tasks for them) but I think the manager should be more valued than a bench coach since in game you can’t really do anything and the GM could basically just be your advanced scouting budget or something

Can we make a drop down under the roster management page where we can see the 25 guys that are on our playoff roster? After I make some changes I legit have no idea who is on and who is off.

hockey - you do know if you change your view to "Status Info" there's a Playoff Roster on/off column in there?

I agree the standalone view might be nice, just the way you stated the problem made me think maybe you didn't realize you can find the information, it just might not be presented in the most user friendly way.

Add a feature for setting lineups where I can click all veterans to rest without the page scrolling up and down for spring training!

On the Hall of Fame voting page, please add a stat category for Innings Pitched (IP). If you have to remove a stat category to fit IP in, please remove games played. I think a lot of relief pitchers lose votes because you have to click on them to see how many innings they pitched. Pitchers in the LRA or SUA role their entire career can rack up 1500 to 2200 IP.

I've noticed both -- dominant pitchers with low IP (800 or less IP) but high save totals (500+) don't get in; dominant pitchers with 1500+ IP with little saves (less than 300) don't get in. I'm hoping if the IP stat gets added, a direct comparison can be made between the starting pitcher with 2500 IP, a 3.50 ERA, and a .250 BAA and the relief pitcher with 2500 IP, a 3.00 ERA, and a .225 BAA.

Allow people to set their budgets as soon as the World is rolled over.

Too many times, I've seen league members forget to set their budgets during the 1-2 day period where budgets are open. Letting owners set their budgets immediately after the rollover could help prevent people from forgetting.

This is a good one. I've found myself checking and rechecking to be sure my budget is set correctly. Being able to set it immediately would be nice. This way, I I might be able to get away with checking once instead of rechecking over and over again.

Agreed. Especially because you get only 24 hours to set your budget and if you’re in an area that has no cell signal (I camp lots) you’re out of luck.

I'm gonna guess the short budget window is a leftover from when the game was first built. Back then you could see everyone's entire budgets, so I guess being able to study them would have been an advantage. I think it was about five years ago Admin changed it so you can only see Player, Prospect and Coach... no need for the short window anymore.

I never understood what advantage other teams got by hiding the budget numbers. Those were my early days of HBD and I think seeing those numbers actually helps newbie owners understand the budgeting process.
