You're a Dickie Thon.

(sorry my 20 something kids got me on this phrase and I can't help myself now).

If there are any NFL fans that like betting on the Super Bowl, I run a pool that you will love (not a luck pool like squares). Site-mail me your email address and I will send it to you. It's nothing like you've ever seen before.

Kind of surprised he wasn’t selected, given his versatility - David Fletcher

Reds:

Trevor Bauer
Pete Rose

I feel like I may regret this but that Rose season is too hard to pass up.

I feel like this is one of those Carnac sketches where the envelope says, "Two of the worst behaved humans"

I mentioned earlier I would be contributing to the pool of awful people.

Years ago, PedroCerrano and I went to a baseball signing that featured all of the Big Red Machine’s starting batters. Being a huge Red’s fan, I had VIP status because I was getting all their autographs on numerous items. There is a guy in front of us, and Pedro and I are 2nd and 3rd on line waiting for Rose to sign. The guy had a picture of the 1973 National League Championship game where Rose and Harrelson were fighting after a hard slide into 2nd by Rose. The guy had Bud Harrelson sign it saying “I really won the fight” and autographed the picture underneath the quote. Rose comes in, the guy hands him the picture and says, Mr Rose could you please sign my picture? Pete takes it, reads it and his eyes popped out of his head like a cartoon coyote from the Saturday morning cartoons. He signs it, and I am cleaning it up, “B*** S***” in quotes and autographed it under his quote. Pedro and I laughed and til this day I kick myself not offering $500 for the picture because of the candid reaction by Rose – it was epic!

You cannot deny that Rose was an all-time character. You couldn't have made him up. Classic story.
