I couldn't tell you.   Seems that most open ice contact, good contact, is whistled.  It seems to me that if they're not within 5 feet of the boards, they don't want the players to make contact.

I have theorized that Charging and Boarding are basically penalties that haven't been called in 25 years, and won't be called until someone is killed. Agree?

Somebody wore their "ELVIS STOJKO ROCKS!" t-shirt to work today.   First, you should be embarrassed to know that much about a figure skater.  And, by "that much", I mean his name.   Second, I assume he's 5'3", 130 lbs.   So, yes, I'd be embarrassed if he whopped my *** even if he had ninja shurikens.

when a public world has rolled and teams are available, is the only way to view the teams to purchase one of em and then get out if you don't like it?

You can click the link to the world, go back one season and view the the link that way.   It's a little harder than the way you describe but you won't accidently get locked in if the world suddenly fills.

while acknowledging that all worlds are different and some things are easier to get/worth less than others, would you prefer to have a team that had a boatload of great pitchers (sp and otherwise) in their minors or a boatload of great position players?
