Game 130: Brady Anderson is 0-5 with nine runners stranded, Tony Phillips commits two key errors, and the Conquistadors smack down the upstart Spectres, 6-5, to extend their lead to five games in the wild card race.
Game 131: San Diego gets an early three-run homer from Greg Jeffries and some help from the Montreal defense to take a 6-0 lead in the fourth, but the Spectres battle back and tie the score with four runs in the eighth, with Greg Gagne's bases-loaded single capping the rally. Bob Wickman works around two hits in the ninth, and Brady Anderson doubles with one down, driving in Tony Phillips with the game winner, in the bottom half.
Game 132: Scott Erickson starts well, but runs into trouble in the fifth, and Rick Aguilera makes matters worse, facing three batters, all of whom score. San Diego puts eight on the board in that frame and that's the final margin in a 12-4 blowout.
Montreal hosts Houston next.
