What the hell are you talking about? Out here near the tech sector capital of the world all kinds of people use their own servers for work e-mail, and nobody cares.
IBM, Microsoft, Google, Apple, HP, Amazon, Intel, Cisco, eBay.....
You're telling me you think it's OK for a customer service rep from these companies to respond to customers from their own personal server with their own personal email? You know it's clearly in the code of conduct to use company email only.
JPM, BoA, PNC....
You're telling me you think it's OK to discuss a person's bank accounts on personal servers?
Boeing, Northrop Grumman....
You're trying me you think it's OK to discuss prototypes over a personal server?
Come on now. Even small companies set up there own work email accounts for their employees and expect them to use that account for work purposes.
