Fielding is not the culprit in this one (though Hal McRae commits two more errors), but hitting, as Vida Blue tosses a complete game four-hit shutout. New York manages one run against Rider starter Bruce Kison and it's enough.

Game 35: Frank Tanana, starting for the second time this series, pitches a complete game three-hit shutout, sending the Riders away scoreless for the second straight day, as the Mammoths sweep with a 2-0 victory.
