This is, however, definitely a win. UVA is respectable this year, due largely to Raymond Kovac (who did not play well this game but who averages in double digits for scoring and around 7 per game for rebounds).

We performed very highly here, and really stifled UVA. This level of dominance is not realistic.

Mid-term grades just came out. I tried to attach it to this email, but if it doesn't come through, let me know - I have a paper copy on my desk.

I highlighted anybody I thought may be a problem. Looks like there's one that needs some extra study hall time:

Obviously we lost pretty badly here, but it wasn't a "bad loss" because it helped our RPI.

If we win one game in the CT, I think we're in to the NT. If not, it's the PIT for us, which isn't all that bad, considering how we started the year.

We do win one in the CT, but for some reason our next opponent is NC State, who I think we have to beat if we want to get that At Large bid, since their RPI is over 100 and a loss to them would probably drop me out of the running.

I think you're in regardless cb. Their record is 15-13, so that won't hurt you too much even if you lose. Guess there's only one way to find out, but go ahead and keep winning if you feel like it ;)

Thanks for chiming in, jdno. Luckily, I won't have to find out if you were right.

Because, you know...I do feel like keeping on winning.

Now we are in for sure, no question. What an amazing turn from early in the season when I didn't think we'd make the postseason at all.

We'll be playing and almost definitely losing to BC in the CT Championship.

RPI 34, SOS 19, and I'm not completely off the national radar:

Congrats on making it to the Finals - it sure was nice having a bye. According to the latest RPI numbers, we're sitting at #34 - we are squarely on the bubble. We need this one...the committee has screwed us in the past, let's not leave it up to them.

Again, congratulations and best of luck tonight,
Pete Bailey
