Oh and for what it's worth, I think Sutton deserved a penalty, but just barely charging. But when was the last time you saw a "just barely" call being made in the playoffs? Very rare. I think the officiating has actually been pretty solid overall thus far in all the games though. They've called what they had to and have let the players decide the games.

...except when Cooke got a roughing penalty for putting a glove in what's his names face while Kennedy was getting his head pulled off by Sutton.....Call them all or none of them.

Much better tonight...Started out a little sluggish, but turned it on and kept going to the end.

I knew they'd do better defensively with McKee in there.

And the forward lines are looking much better with Dupuis on the 2nd, Rupp in the lineup and Feds sitting.

I just wish Malkin would dominate 5-on-5. Crosby is facing the toughest minutes all game long. Malkin should be crushing 2nd-toughest minutes.

Empty Netters is reporting Leopold will miss the entire playoffs.

I would pay good money to see someone lay out Chris Neil. There aren't many players I HATE in the league, but he is at or near the top of the list. What a jerk.

Can't argue with that, Chuck.

Other than that dipshit trying to run people all night, it turned out to be a pretty good game. Both teams started out pretty shaky, then 8 goals in the 2nd period. i wasn't comfortable the entire game. Ottawa just keeps coming....Have to end this series on Thursday.

That being said, the Pens are going to have to pick up their play if they want to go deep, because if they were facing a stronger team (no disrespect to the Sens), they'd be down 2-0 and not looking very good. I think they're really feeling the absence of the Rob Scuderi-Hal Gill pair on the back end.

didn't elevate his game last year? he single handedly won the first two series last year, including the toughest series of their run against the caps and ovie. :>

I agree wholeheartedly mike, but some "experts", and even some people in here think that he didn't deserve the credit he got for Pittsburgh winning that Cup. I think people should be pretty much ready to proclaim him the best player in the world right now. There's absolutely nothing the kid doesn't do well.

I'm going to have to start watching these games from the cardiac care unit so I don't have far to travel!

Great comeback to win the series, though they obviously can't continue to spot teams a 3 goal lead....Maybe that was the wake up call they've been needing for the past few weeks.

I'm assuming we getting Boston next series.

Anyone but the Caps is a possibility at this point.

B's/Sabres winner seems most likely.

Need a more consistent effort. Not going to get as many breaks every series as they had in this one.

Kunitz day to day with an undisclosed injury. Kennedy and Leopold are beginning to skate with no timetable for their return.
