I have seen where you in more lucid moments admitted Bush's administration did things you weren't happy with now he is should be placed on Rushmore. Go back to listening to Lembaugh tell you what to think and let the rest of the thinking world deal with issues
How do my comments on Bush equal him being on mount Rushmore?

Bush had faults, as did Reagan, Roosevelt or Jeffereson. He isnt as good as any of those guys. I may not have liked Roosevelts policies, but that guy accomplised more than most presidents, and possibly any!

Bush was a good president. He kept America together through very rough times. He wasnt perfect, but things could have been a lot worse.
Bush was nowhere near being a good President.  His policies plunged America into tough times both foreign and domestic.  And don't bring up 9/11 because anyone can talk tough when they have the biggest gun in the room.

As with Reagan, his economic policies came down hard on the middle and lower classes while making the rich richer and protecting corporate interests overseas.

For ordinary Americans, his presidency was a disaster; for the military/industrial/banking complex, he got the job done.
This is what the left has been selling, and with the support of the Media elite history has been rewritten to show that things were bad under Reagan and Bush and good under Carter and Obama. People who were actually in the country remember that things were never worse than when Carter was in office and never better than when Reagan was in office.

Bush held America together after the worst attack on American soil in history! Planes were grounded, The world trade center was destroyed and people were in a panic and America stayed together. No one ever gives him credit for not letting the country collapse!

Some interesting graphs put gathered together by Dave Johnson at CAF.  Notice when everything takes a dive.

Okay, how am I supposed to overwhelm Swamp with statistical data if I can't post full-sized pictures?

No matter, he would claim the numbers were false anyway. They were created by the great left wing conspiracy

The charts are for the most part accurate. The conclusion you reached is wrong.
1 Democrats for the most part have controlled the House of representatives for the last 50 years. They control the Budget.
2 The world changed. The rest of the world is advancing in technology and economic power. It isnt the same playing field as 1951.

No matter what jobs would be flowing to emerging nations. If we would practice fiscal discipline and Governmental restraint we could advance into the next era and dominate it.

So how much more Tea Party success in elections will be needed for the Media to stop treating them like angry crazy people?
6/28/2010 1:48 PM
Doesn't matter how many elections they win, when they stop acting like angry, crazy racists the Media will stop treating them as such.

The corporate media has a vested interest in portraying any angry, crazy, racist tea party candidates as actual viable options. Otherwise, all the horse race narrative bullshit they're used to spewing becomes useless.

Dave Weigel pointed out that sometimes tea party folk came across as angry, crazy racists, and look what happened to him.

Really?

The Tea Party rallys are some of the most civilized protests ever. Immigration and G-20 protesters are destroying things and there is always the disclaimer that most of them are peaceful. No one at Tea Party's destroys everything...but they are angry Racists! Afterall CNN said so!

"So the fact that they are winning elections isnt proof of viability??"

What it proves is that you are not alone in your ignorance and that the people get the government they deserve.
