By your logic......All assault rifles are a potential threat but we don't stop allowing people to buy them because of it, correct?

Of course he picked an easy target. If your objective is to kill a lot of people, isn't it easier to kill them if they're not shooting back?

We need to severely restrict the purchase of guns despite the fact that there are millions/billions in circulation.
We don't need to limit Muslim immigration because there are already Muslims in the US.

You'd have to be goofy to try and take down Disney. You can't get in. You gotta have a wrist band or badge. You are tracked 24/7 GPS and camera. Undercover janitors and patrons are packing lead slingers. The TSA government union goons could learn from a private civilian enterprise such as Disney. It's safer to get on a Disney attraction than it is to enter the airport or a gay bar.

I don't necessarily think banning assault rifles is the answer. But tougher background checks (not letting someone on the ************* no fly list buy a gun) and better licensing/registration laws would be a good start.
