#37 PG, #141 overall, ****; no promises. Leonard Horn is gonna sit his miniscule *** on the bench all year, with his astronomical work ethic, and develop. Maybe he'll even go through puberty. I wish he were more athletic and I wish he could rebound a little. Still, he's a four-star guy and he came cheap. He'll probably be pretty awesome by the time he leaves.

#149 C, unranked overall, *; redshirting. Sean Hawthorn was ineligible but became eligible and so he's completely underranked for his ratings. I think he should be a four-star guy, in reality, and ranked in the top 50 of his position. The good part of the way things worked out is that I get to redshirt him without any fuss. I'm actually pretty crazy about this player as a long-term prospect. He's got good base ratings and a good FT shot and a nice work ethic.

This was a pretty unremarkable recruiting season. I got my three initial targets. I took a jab at Bruce Taylor, an undecided sharpshooter who can't pass or move with the ball too well, in the second cycle, but so did three other teams. Right now he's deciding between Seton Hall and Tennessee. I might've been able to win that battle but I didn't think it was that much of an improvement over Horn. Somebody came along and tried to test me on Eastland, but I had at least as much money as them and a full grade advantage and I was closer to him, so I just shook him off and he didn't come back.

UAB used to be oldresorter's team, but he for some school in Wisconsin that wasn't Wisconsin or Marquette. I'm guessing it was his alma mater or the closest school to him in real life or something.

We get a great win over #7 Maryland, my alma mater, behind a great one from Richards even though he doesn't rebound in this game so much. Two steals and three blocks, though.
